Making a big thing out of nothing in my opinion...which is just what Fox News loves to do anyways. I can understand what you're saying McMaybe, but showing respect (even for an enemy) shouldn't be frowned upon. Plus what Bush did seemed worse, and it wasn't a big issue back then, but Obama's gesture suddenly seems to be a huge issue. Also, it just simply doesn't look as bad as I thought, it's not like Obama got on his knees and was groveling :P.

Imarun is actually a girl; that said, Obama should not have bowed down to the Saudi king (I personally hate that dude, but w.e). I know usually when you visit a foreign country you adopt to their 'greeting-tradition' and shit, but shaking hands would have been enough in this matter. Showing respect would have been enough by shaking hands; otherwise, when Obama bowed down the Saudi king should have bowed aswell, that would be mutual respect. If Obama would have insulted the Saudi king in Saudie Arabia, the Saudi king wouldn't even shake Obama's hands if he had visited America. Even if we are talking about oil and shit, Obama shouldn't have done that. By doing that he gives the impression of being weak and to soft, even if he ment that out of respect.

Obama is arguably the most powerful man in the world. That being said there is NO reason for him to bow to ANYONE. Especially someone who, like McMaybe has stated CORRECTLY many times already, has insulted America as a country, and been outspoken about his support of any and all anti-American causes.

Curiously, how do Arabs interpret bows? I know in Japan it's a sign of respect and a greeting, but in the U.S. it's interpreted as sign of submission. If it's a greeting over there, then it shouldn't be seen as anything else but a greeting :P like shaking hands.
