I think it's the same reason why people don't like Em rapping on a techno beat, because he dissed techno in Without Me, so again, people don't like Em to go back on his words.

Because Nas is not Eminem...Eminem gets hate because he's so big. He gets hate because he used to diss pop stars (even though he only dissed certain ones) and then he collaborated with Rihanna...whoodie-do, so did every other rapper...

He used to bash pop singers...but a lot of fans tend to also forget that Rihanna being on that song was for a specific reason.

The only problem is that he probably will continue releasing poppy singles with some mainstream singer on the chorus. For his next album I predict a guest appearance by either Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Beyoncé or good old Rihanna.

Creatively, and for the quality of the music, I'd go with Adele. Look at the quality music she's delivered in the past couple of years, and compare that to the artists most of you consider... Most of them do some sort of techno/poppish music. Adele is just a piano an a raw voice. Give me Em, and Dre (stan type) beat, with adele on the hook. It could be good, yes.

It's just the blatant contradiction. A decade ago, when we the people voted him into the throne that he may be still be sitting atop, it was under the pretense that he was never going to do pop music, and if anything he was going to spend his time bashing it and those that do it (or anything like it) for what we all see it as.

I do like LTWYL even with Rihanna on it. But I would prefer him to collaborate with another kind of artist. So yes I'm one of those who would hate a collaboration with Miss Aguilera.
