He was a better overall rapper in his prime without a doubt. His flow, delivery, and lyrics were perfect. On Relapse, his flow and delivery weren't as good, but his rhyming was on another level.

His rhyming on Relapse isn't close to being as good as his rhyming on Rock Bottom, Brain Damage, Sing For The Moment and Lose Yourself.
If he didn't use the accents on Relapse, you wouldn't be saying that.
