That's why it's important. It documents his drug problems. It's history. Appretiate the courage he had to release Encore while not giving a fuck what anyone thinks. It was who he was at the time. I just love how the album is like a time capsule of Eminem's history as a person.

Well, I thought Encore sucked back in 2007 and prior...Eminem just confirmed what I and others had thought, that something was seriously wrong with him during that time period (2003-2007).

The whole point in bringing up Eminem's comments was that they explained the circumstances of why the album turned out as awful as it did. For some reason, most people don't "get it". They don't get the connection between the drug use and the effect on the music...no matter how many times it's explained by Eminem or anyone else.
