But people(I include myself) want him to be like he WAS, and i think that's imposible, so when he is going to release an album, like R1, most of ppl are like: ' Oh Maybe he comeback with an album like MMLP ,TES, '. And when it came out, those pepl are disappointed because he didn't come back like they want.
That's why all the hate.
Well I don't want him to be like he was at all.
If I heard an album that was very similar to any of his past ones I would be way more disappointed.
The reason Eminem has remained exciting is because he re-invents his styles every album. He sounds totally different. And this is how he will remain exciting.
Like he said before, if you sound the same as on your last album, what's the point.
I want to hear something fresh, original and daring, not a repeat performance.
The Marshall Mathers LP was who he was THEN, it's not who he is now. So he'd be lying to himself and us.
Also, he's a lot smarter than that now, he can do better. People are just obsessed about these fucking accents, it all sounds good to me. I just want his wit back but I don't want him to do what he's done, I want him to do something he hasn't.
Yes, thats what I was trying to say. I mean, i think MMLP and TES are his bets albums, and that's why sometimes i say ' i want a TES or a MMLP'.
But I know that he is NOT, who he was. So if he does a MMLP will be a big lie. He has changed , a lot, that's what makes him special. You dont know what is he going to do or rap about.
Bout the accent, i don't like it, but im not obssesed with it. If he wants to do the accent, he is free to do it. Is not bad.
I think he is a little forced. He changed R2, he re-do it. Why? maybe cuz he thought the songs weren't that good or maybe because of tha fans, and the critics. He say that he 'dont give a fuck' but he does give a fuck.
So , I agree with you. Change is good. New things are better than old things.
But people dont like changes.
