Yelawolf has no mass appeal outside the south in my opinion.

The fact that you and your girlfriend are the only ones who know who Yelawolf is tells me he might not be successful commerically.

Look on the back of every Eminem album, from The Eminem Show onward, and you'll see Shady Records on the back. He is signed as an artist on his own label....

Hey think about Slaughterhouse's commercial success, their song "the one" is i reckon very commercially viable with the right beat and hookand them spitting lyrical but understable verses, they could easy go gold

Shady Records will do very well I think, but won't sell nearly as much as last decade. :sweating:

Artistically I think it is possible to top the last decade. He is sober, more mature and focused so I'm sure there will be a lot of great albums to come (not only from him). The members of D12 have generally improved a lot too.

Commerically I doubt it. He isn't rapping forever and a money machine such as 50 Cent is hard to find again. But you never know...

When he has finished his own rap career I'm sure we'll see a lot more great artists getting signed. :y:

I'd love to see the label blow up but if they keep pushing artistsalbums back and not let them drop as they did a lot this last decade than no. plus I think em needs to let the artists do them a little more. I mean look at most of those albums and tell me they didn't sell simply because of eminem. Besides 50 the cds all had heavy involvement from em. He needs to do one or maybe two features and than produce a lot
be the best you can be, and if thats not good enough for people... than fuck em
