There's no denying the man knows how to put together a sentence and spit it -- if complicated equated to musicality, however, why is "Yesterday" the most covered song in pop culture and not "Crazy Train," the fast-paced and just as classic track from Ozzy Osbourne?

This is still a good point.

However, comparing Lose Yourself to Lollipop? hahahahahaha. Nnnno. And there is no way more people relate to Lil Wayne than Em. That's not even an argument they really back up well.

Eminem does rap about drugs ("Drug Ballad," anyone?), guns ("Pistol Pistol"), and sex ("Superman") just like Lil Wayne, but Mr. Carter is able to touch on one universal subject that Mr. Mathers still struggles with, even into his 40s...How to Love.

omg

Why Lil Wayne? Why not Nas or Biggie or I fucking give up on everything
There's nothing else for me to say, my public adores me
Everybody bores me, they're just so corny
So at night before I sleep, I look in the mirror
The mirror grows lips and it whispers "Come nearer"

Idiotic Article Author wrote:The career-defining single for each of emcee is Eminem's "Lose Yourself," an ode to the struggle of becoming a rapper, and Lil Wayne's "Lollipop," a song about sex. Both songs are approximately five minutes long, and Em fits about 50 percent more words in his song. Weezy's lyrics are much more repetitive, so Shady is essentially working twice as hard to produce the same effect. This certainly proves Marshall is talented and hard-working. It proves he can spit complicated rhyme patterns. But is that what makes a great song? By accomplishing the same thing (a number 1 single) with half the words, Tunechi proves he has a better grasp of lyricism than the Rap God.

I laughed really hard when I read this. This quote in particular just can't be a real thing.

I find it quite difficult to believe he isn't trolling. He has to be joking.

His argument for Lollipop was that it is essentially that is dumbed down lyrically, repetitive, and was still a #1 hit. Huh?

I'm baffled at the fact none of you have noticed this article is to poke fun at the absurd notion that Lil Wayne > Eminem.

"There's no reason he should still be relevant, but he is. All Marshall Mathers had to do in order to stick out was show up; Weezy had to work for his -- and that's real hip-hop."

The author, Brain Penny, KNOWS that this is the exact opposite of what happened. Eminem was the one who had to work while all Wayne had to do was "show up".

"Em is incapable of expressing compassion without betraying his image. Weezy can release an entire album of love songs; Shady can't."

When he EASILY can, and the author KNOWS this.

He's poking fun, c'mon people.
