Hmm, yeah kind of agree. I wouldn't say WMY is an embarrassment though. Not as bad as "Just Lose It". At least it's technically tight, it's just lame because it's the same old formula.
I agree "3am" shouldn't of been a single too but I think it's a fantastic song.
I think the singles should have been...
1. Taking My Ball (get rid of WMY, this in replacement, darker vid for the concept)
2. Stay Wide Awake
3. Deja Vu - With a snappy, cut-shot video. I love this song. Chorus is superb.

EminemIVLife wrote:Stay Wide Awake is class but its also not appropriate for a single. TMB could have been a great single apart from Em's peodophile lyrics; the hook and beat would have made it a great first single but the lyrics definetely put em in a faggish light (imo)

I agree, Jay's rhymes are so simple on that song that even Lil Wayne could make better rhymes. The only good thing is Alicia Keys. I think if Em got a very popular girl to sing the chorus to one of his singles, like Lady Gaga for instance, he would have a lot more success. I know Lady Gaga isn't that great of an artist, but she's a decent singer and she's extremely popular with a lot of people, especially high schoolers, so it would be a smart move for Em to branch out and collaborate with someone like Gaga. And he has to make the beat and the verses sound appealing as well. That's what Jay-Z is good at, he's not a very good rapper or lyricist (in my opinion), but he appeals to a lot of people. Em just needs that appeal and he'll be at the top again
But, Relapse slaughters The Blueprint 3, every time. The worst song on Relapse is better than BP3's best song. Relapse isn't as appealing or even that mainstream, save We Made You, but it is a thousand times better than BP3. And when singles are called into play, Beautiful is a lot better than all of BP3's singles, hands down. That's just what I think

Thank You is just the same old bragging crap with weak punch lines.
good songs on BP3 are actually meaningful substantial songs like So Ambitious & Young Forever.

STW wouldn't make a better single than 3am as it's about rape![]()
