yeah I too think BP3 singles are simply better music. I mean WMY is pure embarrassment, and 3 am? who told him that was single material should be shot :coffee:

Hmm, yeah kind of agree. I wouldn't say WMY is an embarrassment though. Not as bad as "Just Lose It". At least it's technically tight, it's just lame because it's the same old formula.

I agree "3am" shouldn't of been a single too but I think it's a fantastic song.

I think the singles should have been...

1. Taking My Ball (get rid of WMY, this in replacement, darker vid for the concept)
2. Stay Wide Awake
3. Deja Vu - With a snappy, cut-shot video. I love this song. Chorus is superb.

Stay Wide Awake is class but its also not appropriate for a single. TMB could have been a great single apart from Em's peodophile lyrics; the hook and beat would have made it a great first single but the lyrics definetely put em in a faggish light (imo)

Hmm, I dunno, I think STW would be a great single, dark video. I could see it.

TMB I think would of been perfect... I reckon that was either the original 1st single or 1st single for R2 too... Sounds like it was made to be that.

Not sure what you mean about putting him in a faggish light though lmao. It's ironic, he's just being totally ridiculous and... Well, like always. It's like saying he might be gay for saying "Me n Dre been fucking with hats off!"... It's supposed to sound gay lmao, it's taking the piss out of it...

The way he's saying it sounds gay. When he said me and Dre been fucking with hats off he sounded hard but in TMB the accent + juvenilia = fail (imo). As for SWA; that hook kills but his verse's would be heavily censored to the point of destroying the song. I hope Em is coming up with a single that does not have to be censored at all and contains original all access lyrics (Em's creative enough to come up with that)

I agree, Jay's rhymes are so simple on that song that even Lil Wayne could make better rhymes. The only good thing is Alicia Keys. I think if Em got a very popular girl to sing the chorus to one of his singles, like Lady Gaga for instance, he would have a lot more success. I know Lady Gaga isn't that great of an artist, but she's a decent singer and she's extremely popular with a lot of people, especially high schoolers, so it would be a smart move for Em to branch out and collaborate with someone like Gaga. And he has to make the beat and the verses sound appealing as well. That's what Jay-Z is good at, he's not a very good rapper or lyricist (in my opinion), but he appeals to a lot of people. Em just needs that appeal and he'll be at the top again

But, Relapse slaughters The Blueprint 3, every time. The worst song on Relapse is better than BP3's best song. Relapse isn't as appealing or even that mainstream, save We Made You, but it is a thousand times better than BP3. And when singles are called into play, Beautiful is a lot better than all of BP3's singles, hands down. That's just what I think

I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

Thank You is just the same old bragging crap with weak punch lines.

good songs on BP3 are actually meaningful substantial songs like So Ambitious & Young Forever.

Young Forever? Really? I mean, it has nice meaning and all, but Jay's flow is so off point its actaully unbelivable.

I don't think it should matter what it's about. Nothing on Relapse is commercial.

All of the album is about rape and killing. Even WMY, he just lightened it up and made it cleaner and frothier so it could go out.

"3AM" is about chopping people up, shoving his dick up a maniquin and coming hope to a hallway of dead bodies, it's not commercial either. It's anti-commercial.

So all that matters to me is the quality of the song. The execution. And I think STW would of been received better. It may be about explicit things but there's not a lot of cursing, it's very technical and catchy and I think a better representation of the album.

Lmao, the worst except for "3AM" and "Beautiful"? Well those two and "We Made You" were the three main, official singles. "Old Time's Sake" was a street / promo, digital only one.

So you think only one of the three was the worst. Not having a go at you just seems weird to say they're the worst apart from 2/3 of them lmao. Why not just say "We Made You" was the worst.
