Every one of these threads is the same; the only thing i hate more than trolls and people who hate for the sake of it is butthurt fans who feel the need to champion their musician in question like they are God, and shove their opinion down someone's throat and then look down upon them as though they are somehow superior to them. Fuck you dickholes, this thread is going nowhere. Carry on and i'll lock it.

I'm getting sick of every thread that doesn't praise the album getting derailed by Stans. Stop this shit.

Kez ethering another thread. I'm not even gunna bother getting pissed off at people in these threads, I'll just let you deal with it.

Agree with Dan. Obviously Em got ridiculously high standards to meet from his first three albums but rather just look at Recovery in isolation compared to most commercial rap thats out, not to mention that its easily (imo) his best album since 2002.

Recovery is overrated by fans, but underrated by critics in my opinion.

Sidenote: Listening to Fat Joe's new album at the moment, and honestly Just Blaze's beat on "I'm Crack" shits in anything that he gave to Em for Recovery :zipped:

I wouldn't mind Eminem getting other people to choose his beats for him from now on, as the beats are people's main problem with Recovery, and after listening to recent work from the producers that worked on it, I can see why

Totally agree. Beats are fucking vital and Em will often go in on an average or just good beat. Why? I really hope he gets classic beats on his next album because this has plagued him his whole career.

Eh, not all of us who love Recovery are like that. I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It'd be pretty boring if every single one of us loved it.

It's a nice beat. Has similarities to CWB.

:b:
I'm not sure man, it never really bothered me before because Em can turn an average beat into a classic song, but when you hear the same producers who worked on Recovery dropping beats that are way better than they gave Em so soon after his album dropped you have to wonder why, especially Just Blaze - I mean this guy was in the studio for MONTHS with Em, and Em chooses some of the most average beats you'll ever from the dude

Im not hating on the beat selection on Recovery, most of the beats are fine with me, but damn they really had the potential to be amazing

I guess recovery isn't the right choice for the listeners who want to hear a smoother voice....

I think the beat for Won't Back Down is one of the best on the album. In my opinion Khalil is untouchable right now.

I've never got more then halfway through the first verse because of the beat
