Um, Wayne and Drake have never reached the complexity of We Made You's lyrics.

They simply don't have the attention to detail Eminem has.

Where is your argument that Big Poppa is better lyrically (this means you can't bring up the accent or the delivery in general)?

You don't have an argument at all really, other than "the stuff Biggie raps about isn't as corny" or "Biggie's content is cooler" which is a subjective debate. I personally find Biggie's lyrics about da club boring.

The guy I was talking to didn't just say they were better LYRICALLY, he said they were better. Then used the term "lyrically better" to support his claim. I'm arguing against that, and backing it up with my own reasons. What can't you understand about that buddy?

I wonder when the PetaParkers (aka HairJordan), DirtySouths and Mainy_Boi's are gunna leave this site. They're seriously embarrasing.

Exactly.

This is the misconception some have had with me when I've brought up some Encore lyricism in the past. They attribute the... Content of the song to the lyrical dexterity on show.

Some people cannot separate the end product and the EXECUTION. They see somebody say lyrically, "We Made You" is better than X and immediately go "LMFAO!!! OMG MAN HE THINKS SOME CORNY FUCKING POP-RAP SONG IS BETTER THAN BP3 OMG OMG OMG".

It's about the structure and specifically like you said there - ATTENTION TO DETAIL. Eminem's attention to detail is immense even when he's being scattalogical or absurd. Little flairs and... Opposites of cliches, conscious decisions with certain phrases... Just a wealth of complex lyricism, which I agree Lil Wayne / Drake have never reached.

And to any tard reading this, that's not saying "We Made You" is better than every Lil Wayne song, although... Well no I'll leave that lmao, but it's saying the lyrical structure, the actual technique at hand in the lyrics there >>> any shit they've done. Which is true of almost any Eminem song.

It's not just about what you're saying, it's a lot to do with how. And Em's 'how' is always interesting, even when he's at a low with his content or focus.

How so? Oh, wow, Biggie is a playa and can get bitches at da club.

Any other rapper makes that song and people call it complete garbage and a typical example of "hip pop."

And who said anything about "entire discography?"

I agree with you but I reckon that was one of the only club songs Biggie has had. Hell, even Tech has a bunch of club songs. Eminem has also made club bangers. I guess what I'm saying is club bangers aren't exactly bad when done once in a blue moon or just once.

I'm just saying. Though I agree lyrically We Made You > Big Poppa.

Not sure this is a fair question for this site, where most of the people here are Eminem's fans :) In my mind i do consider him one of the best, tho it's hard to actually make a top in hiph-op since so many rappers got their influences on eachother and won a spot in my most listened list.Among my fav(besides Eminem) would be NAS,DZK,Immortal Technique,Obie trice,Xzibit,DMX,BigL,Method Man,Mos Def,Shyheim,2Pac,Proof,Wu Tang,Biggie and many others,so kind of hard to decide who is the best, they all brought their contribution in rap,and if today i might consider Immortal the best ,maybe tomorrow will be Method Man or Eminem, depends on the day/mood :smoking: .But he sure deserves a spot among the best in my opinion, but as some of you said here,he might only get that recognition he deserves when he dies :facepalm

I wonder when you're ever going to stop licking the sweat off my nut sack. This isn't your site you ignorant little bitch. Just because you have Nas(who fell the fuck off bigtime) in your avatar with Eminem doesn't mean you know what the fuck you're talking about. How am I embarrassing you? I don't even know you and you don't know me. Get over it and stop finger fucking yourself whenever you see my name brought up.If anything regular Em fans should be embarrassed to listen to him when he has dumb fuck fans like yourself.

Of course he is the best yet. Look what he has done for the sport.

No one will touch him in and it is true that he will never get the respect he deserves and unfortunately it is because of his colour.

Em is going to change the rap game again... he is taking out all these rappers. Wayne, Kanye, Jay, he's going to start going after all of em.

If you guys can't see that him and Wayne will be beefing in a years time top, then your crazy. Read his lyrics for Forever, Drop the World, No Love and even all of Recovery.

Seduction, Cold Wind Blows, Cinderella Man, On Fire, Wont Back Down, Not Afraid and even You're Never Over go subliminally at all the big name rappers.

He's pissed cause no one treated him like a legend, when he was out and needed help. No one branched out to him. So now he's going Mike Tyson on all these bastards.

Eminem is too much of an ass-kisser these days to beef with Lil Wayne. :coffee:

i think you might be taking some of the lyrics out of context... and em isnt one to subliiminally go at anyone.. he'll usually make it clear who he's dissing. maybe im wrong. but i dont see Em beefing with any of the rappers you mentioned there.
