I mean, Eminem has more than enough in terms of previous material to perform a set based on old songs at the three major festivals that have been mentioned, but I have to agree, I think its looking likely that he will use the festivals to (hopefully) perfom R2 songs. We'll just have to wait and see. I've also had more of a feeling recently that his next album will not actually be called Relapse 2, it just seems too much time has passed, and his direction has changed. Could be wrong though, Em's never really been to imaginative with album titles.
The wait continues...
Ah I disagree there though. Well okay imaginative maybe not but artistic yes.
Like Gervais he realizes the key to simplicity in the title. He could quite easily have complex sentences or a pun / metaphor as a title but a strong, universal, themed title is always better.
Just like Gervais when he called his comedy masterpiece 'The Office'. Sounds boring in print but when it hit, it all made sense. The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP, The Eminem Show, Encore, Relapse, the titles have fulfilled that ideology perfectly so far.
But he will ruin the streak of perfect titles with Relapse 2 IMO. That is lame no matter which way you look at it, he really should call it something else.
