He obviously cares more about putting out great albums than making money (although he probably wouldn't mind if his artists made one or two radio friendly tracks). Only problems now are Cashis who is one of most boring rappers I can think of and D12... Well, D12 will sell quite a lot but they aint a group that would stand a chance without Eminem. Kuniva and Swifty make good verses once in a while and the beats are in safe hands thanks to Mr. Porter but they still havn't made anything mind blowing and I refuse to believe they will ever do.
Having said that they are a label for the future and I can only see them go on to become even bigger as long as it is Eminem's sober ears that sign the artists and not some business man. Right now they just need to put out some good albums and regain credibility. They have already shelved too many artists and havn't really put out anything significant in years.
D12 will sell nothing, Slaughterhouse will sell nothing, Cashis will sell nothing, Yelawolf will probably have a hit single but I doubt his album will sell much.
Plus, Shady has 0 young guys. Yela, at 31, is the youngest (not including 28 yo Cashis because honestly, who cares?). To put that in perspective, Kanye is the leader/veteran of GOOD and he's only 33. Shady has 0 young talent.
^JK Joell and Budden are both 30, but still no one under 30 except Cashis...
