Can someone justify why or how

I think it was pretty even - Jay-Z's verses are great.

Not that it's really a contest to begin with. Even if Eminem did have the better verses, he wrote them to do with Royce. Jay-Z did his verses having been inspired by Eminem's (or so I would assume...unless he said, "yo Em, let's collab?" and Eminem went, "sure...if you don't mind me recycling a couple of verses I did with Royce.")

So far I have seen only one good point made and that was towards Jay outshining Em.

Because there's nothing to say. Em and Jay both have great content but Em makes it 10x more lyrical and flows way smoother. He's more enjoyable to listen to and doesn't sacrifice anything he's saying for rhymes or flow.

That's all subjective though. Saying Em makes it 10x more enjoyable. Lol I could say the same thing about Hov on the track. He makes it 10x more enjoyable. And what exactly did Jay sacrifice for rhymes or flow?

It all comes down to personal taste,i enjoyed both verses.I could relate to jays 'back to the wall,ashy knuckles' spiel but em had the better flow.and jesus,it wasn't a fucking war,they both brought something to the table.anything else is,again,a matter of personal taste. P.S we need more Blus in this forum.
