Most of us know what the "Racist Tapes" refers to, but in case you don't google it.
During that era Eminem recorded "Yellow Brick Road" in which he clears up some things about his past as a child. Considering he was heavily using drugs during the recording of Encore, most of the content was as some would claim as "sub-par". Now that he is clean, he has had a new feel for life and has put all of his past problems aside (or so we think publicly).
So, say those tapes were actually just released now instead of back in 2003. Do you think that Em would have paid any mind to the accusations in his music and record a better song actually diving into the details of why he recorded the tracks, or do you think he would just pass it along to the side (obviously making his public statement apologizing to the African American community)?
