I love the line in Evil Twin when he says "and I'm nuts, then again who the fuck wants a plain Eminem". Everybody likes peanut m&ms more than plain ones lol. Great line.

That line took me like a month to figure out, I'm slow as fuck.

Should I feel bad for getting it now for the first time ?

still think "Asshole" is one of the more under-appreciated tracks. I get it people don't like the hook or beat but Em fucking spits on that song. Lyrics are not only badass but still have some insight and substance to them.

Love how he ends it basically saying everyone's an asshole.

"Now now, that's when you start to stare at who's in the mirror and see yourself as a kid again, and you get embarrassed"
"I'm here, White America's mirror, so don't feel awkward or weird when you stare at me and see yourself, cause you're one too"

yeah, the lyrics are the best part. I love the 49er part, lol

This isn't necessarily directed at that Asshole example, but when Em rephrases something he's already said on another album, it sometimes feels like the point isn't as smoothly put across as it was the first time round. That may be a product of his choice to play with more complex rhymes, or even the fact he's finding himself having to come up with combination #510 for rhyming about such and such, that I found myself very occasionally thinking 'Just say it bro, you can do it'.

Or it could just be me...98% of the shit he says in MMLP2 is pretty amazing.

The new one has the sort of wry good humour that is very prevalent on MMLP2, it's something I never expected from Em tbh, another example is the "up close didn't know you had crow's feet" line.
When I heard those, I thought "wow, this dude really did grow up".
His sense of humour is less cutting/shock value than before and is just, sort of, more...humourous?
It's part of the reasons I'm so insistent that MMLP2 is a classic, it truly reflects an epoch in his career and I think it serves as an end to something, which we'll have to wait for the next album to confirm.
Also, anybody else think that MMLP2 really starts at Berzerk and that the earlier tracks were a sort of flashback or "previously, on..."?
