I honestly think Em is going down the same road Dre has. His best work is behind him, and it's clear that his style just isn't as amazing as it once was. (I mean come on, Recovery and Bad Meets Evil don't come CLOSE, to his masterpieces in SSLP, MMLP, TES. Hell, I liked what he did on Infinite) So instead, he will work on building his record label (Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse) and produce for them, and promote them. Face it, in the music world, Eminem is old news. Young Money controls the game, unfortunatly. I want to see Odd Future take over!!!! lol

I think Tech is dope but his stuff gets boring for me just cuz there is sooo much of it released. Could you imagine someone who just becomes a Tech fan now and wants to hear the discography? By the time they finish, Tech's released twice as much stuff lol

So you're saying that even though everything the dude has ever put out has been/is top-tier, he should refrain from continuing to release it?

Well I'm sure part of the reason is because he feels he doesn't want people to get sick of him. He's been conscious of that since day one, and the element of surprise and making people want more / wait for new material has always been a crucial element to his success.

It seems like a cheap way of going about it. The only ones that crave new shit, are the real fans. At the core level, we all have an appreciation for good hiphop. Shit, that's the reason we're here. I don't see how starving your fans could end in anything good. There is a fine line between suspense and starvation.

Why not, instead of starving your fans of good music, you just make music that's so good they can't get enough of it?

You get the same effect, minus the lack of material -- and Em is perfectly capable of doing it.
