) he's a personal favorite. He embodied charisma on the mic and had one of the best deliveries in Hip Hop, and was a master storyteller who used some of Slick Rick's best techniques. Lyrically he wasn't Nas or even Eminem, but he had a way with words and boy did he make them work. It's also astounding to see him grow so much as an mc from R2D to LAD it's a shame the guy who died so soon and young 24 at that. It would have been fascinating to see if he would have grown as a lyricist and what paths he may have taken. (N iggas Bleed, Everyday Struggle, What's Beef, Victory are some of favorite songs)

2. Tupac - had a big impact on my life and many others
3. Lupe Fiasco - Lyrically most people admit Lupe is near the best if not the best but this guy is underated at everything else. He has spot on delivery and point on flow. This and he made the greatest song ever made about skateboarding.
4. Nas - I don't really enjoy listening to him to much but I respect what he has done for Hip Hop.
5. Jay Z - He used to be my favourite but I don't really listen to him anymore. But I still get goosebumps every time I bring out Blueprint again.
6. Biggie - Just like Nas I don't really listen to him but clearly he makes good music.
7. Kanye West - A lot of people mistake me for a Kanye hater because I say MBDTF isn't the greatest album of all time or whatever but I still love all his albums greatly (exept for 80's of course). He makes up for his lyrical ability with his flare.
8. Andre 3000 - Andre Flow > Eminem Flow
9. Big L - Although overated (some say he's the greatest) he still has a place in the top 10.
10. T.I. - He is the only one out there right now going as hard as Em but this guy has a history of bad albums and failures.

Good list, I used to have those rappers in my top 10 a while back.
