But if you look at the XXL freshman list, honestly, it's depressing. Like there isn't any real talent in the US.... But I guess they went with what was marketable. I blame it on the fans, too.
Jesus Christ Zu you're going to count that as a credible source? You know better new rappers are out there than the mainstream and overhyped ones who make that list.

My problem with UK Emcees is that they're so similar. They aren't nearly as diverse as the US. Logic and Lowkey could switch discographies and I'd have the same opinion on them.

I can't comment on them because I haven't gave their music enough attention. I like Akala, that song you posted on FB was on my mp3 forever, but Doublethink had really bad/weird production and I couldn't dig it at all.

Germany has quite a few good rappers, but I gotta admit I haven't been into it for a while. As for polish rap, I think it's been going in a right direction lately. We got Termanology and Jeru the Damaja working with polish artists, Jeru is going to perform with one of our rappers this week. The only problem we have is that we're the only country in the world using our language, so no one can understand it, unless they're weird enough to learn it. We got a huge potential though and as much as I was into american rap few years ago, I'm in love with polish rap right now
