How is someone a faggot for putting product in their hair? Kid Twist and Fresco can put all the gel they like in their hair, I don't give a shit. The fact this makes you uncomfortable or annoyed says more about you.

Because it's a faggoty thing to do. I'm not calling them homosexual i'm just saying they're faggy.

so be it. i have no problem saying that sissy ass mc's have no place in battle rap. it's just uncomfortable for everyone involved. and winning against them brings no sense of accomplishment. it's like beating up a girl.

Most of the guys in the battle circuit are blatantly fake. It looks pathetic when guys like Iron Solomon get tattoos and try to act hard, talking with a wigger voice despite having an affluent upbringing. That is cringe-worthy.

How exactly is rap/hip hop ever supposed to "progress" if intelligence is belittled and retarded hoodrats and wiggers are celebrated for "bein hawd, son?"

This type of attitude is why turds like 50 Cent even exist.

Its funny you say that Eminsider cause pat went after dizaster for acting like that haha

@amadeo, i would imagine he had a job. They don't get paid too much for basttles a believe. And pat only battles two or three times a year. But he did a blog and stated he didn't have one anymore so who knows.

What amazes me is the seemless multies that people like him and saurus and all them use. Punches and jokes just come to ya but their verses just so smooth.

Not sure what you mean by like jokes about jokes. But I definitely see the difference between pat and don't flop battlers. I'd recommend Lunar C for a good joke rapper. He gets a little dick ridden but he has some hilarious shit.

Unfortunately all of slaughterhouse really looks more toward URL rappers or ones that fit that genre like Diz. Just look at the bracket they made.
Aye verb, and daylyt are the only names people like that are active.
Math us trash, half hate diz half dick ride him, he only got in cause he's friends. Same with Marv. Cortez is trash etc.

Lux vs mook is a bad look, and neither are who you want on that kind of stage.

Its honestly turning battling mainstream. And we know what happens when things go mainstream

Spyder, I think Amadeo is referring to Don't Flop battlers rapping about stuff like how stupid associate wordplay is or how cliche gun bars are, when it's becoming cliche to complain about gun bars. Also, there are often bizarre references that only the other battlers get.

For example, I heard a line in Don't Flop recently: if you're not careful, I'll start doing an associative wordplay scheme about Arab culture. Don't Mecca me do it.

You can't blame them, really. It's like nearly every single angle and creative insult has been done before in a 1-on-1 acapella format so the next step is to start taking the piss out of the culture itself. But the fact that this meta humor is becoming more popular almost signals the death of the culture.

Very true about the in-jokes, too. I loved the Grindtime years when The Saurus just did a bunch of Asian jokes to Dumbfoundead and it was accessible. Now battlers in Don't Flop make jokes like (quoting Cruger here): you're shorter than Math Hoffa's second against Shotty. Of course, the people in that venue have seen that battle but a lot of people watching on Youtube haven't. In jokes are lame, but again, can't blame 'em. They have to fill up 3 rounds of material.

The lame thing is that if Kid Twist were to battle a fat guy and just make a bunch of fat jokes he would not get much reaction these days. "Fat jokes are a played out ANGLE, bro. You need to evolve your corny jokes and start doing some bars. Or make jokes ABOUT fat jokes...that's what's cool these days."

the quotations were him mocking btw m8

he's saying battlers should be able to do played out angles (as long as it's executed well i guess). i think there has to be some points for originality. i do find cruger does a lot of "played out angles" but executes them very well and often uniquely.

I know he's saying that. He's saying doing played out angles are better than bars about how bad played angles are.

I just think doing all fat, race, etc jokes give you know true personals and make a battle like that null and void.
Back in grind time where you had more battles in a short period of time and didn't know much about your opponent it was ok. But now it seems unoriginal. But like amadeo said so do bars complaining about them

true, sorry. i just got confused as it seemed like you were agreeing with him that bars > everything.

also, quick side note. i don't like the term "bars" in battle rap anyway. i dont see how lines filled with humour aren't considered bars.

Well of course it is a bar.

It seems to be what they refer to as hard hitting punchlines. Silly term yes as everything spat is in a bar LOL but just the name that caught on I suppose.

That being said, as much as charron deserves a title shot I want a different match up. I just don't know who I'd like to see and who is close to it.

Real deal, DNA, arcane, charron, sketch, and maybe bender are the only ones who care about the title. The only match I'd like is bender if he actually can remember his bars and can keep his breath

elision they're not. there are common phrases like "bars over jokes". you have to be doing wordplay or at least have an intense delivery to be considered to be spitting "barrrrzzzzz".

spyder, why don't you want to see that match up? i think it will be great. the only other match up i would look forward to is real deal, as he is genuinely one of the best battlers in the world.
