I just saw Jay-Z's The Blueprint (2001) ranked as #4 album of the decade by Rolling Stone. Okay, that's fine but then... The Marshall Mathers LP (2000) ranked at #7...
So they seriously think The Blueprint is better than The Marshall Mathers LP. "Jigga that Nigga" stacks up against "Stan"? - "Girls, Girls, Girls" beats "The Way I Am"? lol that's bullshit. The Blueprint was a great rap album but The Marshall Mathers LP was like the definition of an era. A cultural milestone.
Eminem even made Jay's album better with one powerhouse of a track, written, produced and slaughtered by him lmao. And they think Jay had the better album. MMLP is easily a better album. Artistically, in ambition, vision, lyrically, production. Better all round.

Let's just be glad that Wayne isn't up there.
