Are you saying you don't want to hear Eminem songs with Nas, Slaugtherhouse, Proof, Redman and Rakim?

And how is Eminem better at singing then Cudi and Elton John?

Oh, and why is it homosexual?

Total :confusion:

Yes I want to hear Em collabs with Nas, Proof, Redman and Rakm (not bothered about SH) - But not all on the same album!

I would want to hear... Redman and Xzibit. And Royce on R2. And that's all. Great collabs are hand-picked and precious. Not a dime-a-dozen. I don't wanna hear a ton of other rappers on an Em classic.

And obviously Em isn't a better singer than Elton John. Cudi is a bit better at vocal range too but what I mean was, his hooks are better. I prefer him doing the hooks. He's not a singer so I don't care if he doesn't sing them. But he makes badass hooks, better than any you mentioned.

"White America" - "Square Dance" - "Business" - "Cleanin' Out My Closet". His hooks are powerhouses and most of all, they're raw, layered, crisp and addictive.

I don't want 5 tracks with other artists doing the hooks. If I want Cudi on hooks I buy a Cudi album.

He does make SOME great hooks, but most are average at best (most of his singing ones are this imo).

Features spice the album up imo, if another person does a verse or a hook Eminems voice and flow stick out more on the tracks. As long as over half of the tracks on the albums are solo I'm good. :y:

I think nearly all his hooks are great. I'm struggling to think of a bad hook. I know people will immediately start saying "Big Weenie" "Rain Man" and "Fack" but a) they're ironic / zany songs. They're supposed to be like that and b) they're few and far between.

I mean just look at The Eminem Show man. That's my favourite Eminem album and to most, a classic. And he did all the hooks on it bar... "Sing for the Moment" (sample: Aerosmith) and "Till I Collapse" (Nate Dogg). And they're all classics. To me anyway.

I agree that a few features can enhance / spice-up an album. But Eminem is such a powerful emcee and creates such a theme that too many cooks spoil the broth with him. On MMLP he hand-picked the features perfectly. Five features and they all enhance the album.

But anymore than that and you're detracting from an Em album to me. I want at least 9 solos. And him doing nearly every hook bar maybe 1 or 2. 1 of which probably being a re-worked sample. I also happen to like his singing. Like on "Beautiful", I think it's pretty good.

The hook in Rain Main brings it up. It's a horrible song, but the chorus is kinda catchy. Better than the half-assed verses.

The hook in Big Weenie is awesome, same with Fack (the whole song is) if you have a sense of humor.

But yeah, he makes awesome hooks.

Yeah I agree but I know that a lot of people dislike them so that's why I used those examples.

I don't think that the verses of "Rain Man" are half-assed though. I think people get the impression they're half-assed because he isn't yelling, double-timing or speeding through with some manic flow like usual.

But they're quite witty. I like them. "You find me offensive... Shit this is the same verse, I just did this! When am I gonna come to my good senses... Probably the day BUSH comes to my defenses"... Lmao. That's what we need, more in-song innovation.

The rhyming on it is pretty good too. I think he was just pre-empting what people would expect him to say and trying to counter it. He knows it's obvious so I think he was trying his best not to conform to it. But instead throw you off and be a little different.

Well they kind of are but I find it odd to call them bad hooks lmao because...

They're ironic songs. It's not like he was trying to be clever or cool by saying 'weenie'. Obviously it's a ridiculous, child-like word to use that's why he's using such a silly word in such a serious way.

Similarly with "Fack", it's meant to be ear-gratting lol. Not that I find the song funny or I'm saying it's a brilliant song but it's kind of meant to be awful you know lmao...

It's like saying "Yeah I like The Simpsons but man Homer is dumb..." Doesn't really make sense to me when that's the intention. But I love "Big Weenie" actually haha. Hook too.

you dont need to defend if a song is actually no good. Fack is ear-grating and annoying as fuck, similar tho worse than songs like Just Lose It, We Made You, Crazy In Love, Puke, Ass Like That, Ricky Ticky Toc, Crack A Bottle..All very annoying songs to me usually, unless I'm extremely high

I don't actually.

Whenever I debate on things, I make points FOR my argument.

But I don't say things like 'accept it' like my opinion is the right one and you just have to realize it. Like you just did.

It's fine to state your opinions as strongly as you like as I do and everyone else is free to. It's bigotry to do what you just did though. So accept that.

you argue that Someone else wants many features
you argue those songs have terrible hooks

those are opinions, yet you argue. there for your trying to force your opinion :n:

No actually. When the guy said he wanted a lot of features. I made a post apposing that opinion yeah, that's normal discussion you know... This is a FORRRRUMMM.

I said like, I wouldn't like that. For me, it would ruin it. Obvious phrases that imply my perspective...

Yes you are allowed to 'argue' for something if that's your opinion. Nothing wrong with that. Again, normal discussion. If you had said "The hooks are awful" or "I think they're shit" wouldn't matter. But to say they're awful and I just need to accept it = BIGOT. That's implying your view is the right one and I just need to realize it. So, you fail again.
