my opinion on why relapse 2 is a good name

relapse 2 is a good title...and noone realizes it...

in real life eminem relapsed TWICE with his personal drug addiction...and on his "second relapse" that is when he actually got his shit together and came back....maybe its like the same thing...on relapse 2 he gets all that stupid shit out of his system...and comes back for real with relapse 2

No because Relapse already achieves both meanings.

He said himself when it came out that Relapse was a double-entendre. He said that it mean Relapse in the literal sense as in, from drugs and Relapse back to his old style.

So the original title by itself achieves this and the concept of the prescription thing works. But after Relapse: Refill (which would of worked as the name for #2), I think he should kill the name off.

It's apparently very different anyway so may as well call it something fitting.

Why shouldn't it be called Relapse 2? Because Refill is the second part, so it wouldn't make sense to make two second parts.

No because like I said, the first Relapse already does this.

He said about the title Relapse that it's a double-meaning. That it's supposed to mean him relapsing from drugs and relapsing into his old roots. And he does both on his first album.

So the original title achieves this. There's no need to call the new album Relapse 2 unless it's a true sequel. Which, by the sound of it, it's not. So he should call it something else IMO.

I actually do lol. People called it corny but I quite like it.

It's better then 'Relapse 2' anyway.

But from the sounds of it, this album is gonna be mind-blowing. So he should call it something fitting. Be a shame for his best album to go down as 'Relapse 2'. Just sounds lame.

Yeah I know. His albums are in pairs.

But 'Relapse 2' is just lame. It'd be like 'The Eminem Show 2'. It's just cheese to call an album #2.

Relapse: Refill would of even worked but he's used that on a re-release now.

But considering that had new tracks, from the original R2 anyway and this new one is supposedly so different. He should pick a different name.

Because then it works anyway.

TES > Encore
Relapse > Refill

Then this new album is like fresh start.
