The world's not against you, or any of us.

Events are only bad because of how we perceive them. It's sort of like being paranoid that everyone is plotting against you for an entire month, because of the way that they're being secretive around you, and you don't know why. You begin thinking about all of the little things each person might want to get revenge on you, and how it might happen. You drive yourself crazy. That night, you go home with the intention on killing yourself so they don't get you first--but then, these same people jump out and yell "Surprise". It was a surprise party they were planning, not revenge of some sort.

This can be applied to simple things or complex ones, it doesn't matter. The same circumstances can be received in many different ways. In any case, it's how you think of things that makes you suffer, not the events themselves.
