It doesn't rhyme traditionally, what you stumbled across is a slant rhyme.
A rhyme that doesn't traditionally rhyme, however it sounds like it does. Same with count your days, pounce and pray, they don't rhyme traditionally, but when said aloud they appear to rhyme. Eminem uses this type of rhyme style a lot more then any other artist.

its assonence (sp?) rhyming...rakim started it...rakim does it more than any other artist...stfu
