Thats what I think too, if you took the best parts of his albums you'd have a classic imo, but as they are all his albums have too much filler/skits

For me its the production, I dont he's as bad a rapper as people say either, but I'd rather hear somebody else rhyme over his beats ( Common/Jigga )

^ Well Kanye isn't the best lyricst, no quabbles there but I'm much more entertained when Kanye raps than Jay-Z.

His lyricism is also more original and his flows more passionate IMO. I just find his rapping more enjoyable.

To call his first 3 albums classic is a bit of a stretch; the first one was the best but it was just a good album to me; the other 2 are average (and I didnt even bother giving 808s a listen) His flow and technique are boring to me and I gave him a fair chance. Overrated imo.

I looove The College Dropout, I do think that's a classic actually. His other 2 were still great albums, really liked them too. So I can't wait for his next album, as long as it's not like 808s then it's all cool cause I'm sure he'll do a good job with it.
