Off-topic: Only reason I mentioned Eminem was because this discussion turned into a discussion about wether Eminem did the exact same thing as Jay-Z, but I´ll let that discussion die away.

On topic: Jay-Z does what basically every other rapper does (how much they do it differates), "stealing" (which most people call sampling) is what Hip-Hop is built upon, and it´s a natural part of the music style.

I can agree that he might be doing it a little to much, but no rapper can be perfect.

Secondly, worshipping the devil would make you religious. Atheists don't believe that there is any supernatural force / creator / myth in the Universe. Good or bad.

If he was an atheist, why would he thank god. And I'm aware dumb people think atheists are devil worshippers. Usually naive Americans. Since Atheism = Lack of belief in any supernatural power, it makes no sense. Even as a joke.

And no, I don't care. If Eminem made song after song about god, I would. But he's mentioned god maybe a handful of times throughout his entire career. He treats everything else rationally and I listen to his music for his irony, twisted humour, rhyming and flows. Not his religious views.
