Lastly, to make this thread have a point, (and this is also kind of a little experiment I'm doing between fans of different types of music) disregard everything else that makes you enjoy listening to music and put yourself into one of these two categories...

1.) I prefer melody/tune.
2.) I prefer lyricism.

By 'prefer', I mean what draws you the most in a song? This will probably be hard for a lot of people, as both are equally important to a song, but I'm interested to hear what niche fans of Shady prefer. I have my idea of what people will go for, but I'd still like to hear responses and see what people say. It will only take a few seconds, just reply with either '1' or '2'.

Alright Rooney, calm yourself. What I meant by what 'draws' you the most was what do you find is more important to you in a song - the lyrics, or the melody. I know it does sound like a stupid question, because as someone pointed out already, it depends largely on the song, but on the whole what do you prefer, what is it that hooks you mainly when you listen to tracks?

If its got a shit beat an all but great lyricsm its still hard to get to like the track but thats what gives it replay value, I'll go with 2 in short lol. Great beat but shit lyrics = not much replay value but catches you in straight away.
