My top 5 at the moment, 3-5 change every other week, but #1 & #2 always stay the same.
1. Beautiful
Because of the feeling of the whole song. You can really feel the pain and the lyrics may not be the most complex stuff Em wrote, but it's without a doubt one of the truest and meanningful tracks he ever did in my opinion. I love every single second of this song and it's getting better and better every time I listen to it.
2. Just Don't Give A Fuck
This track has always been in my top 3, and used to be my number 1, but then he released the above. But I lovve this track for it's punchlines and witty rhymes. When I hear this track, it feels like Eminem is the only one in the world who really can make something like that work, you know? Like how he flows on the beat and get that "I just don't give a fuck" feeling across. Dope!
3. Like Toy Soldiers
Every time I hear this track, I think of the video, and automatically because Proof dies in the video, I think of Proof's death. The song shows how loyal Eminem and his camp really are to each other. Once again, not the most complex lyrics, but i couldn't care less, because it's the songs where he gets his point across which is the best ones in my opinion.
4. Careful What You Wish For
I don't actually know why I like this track as much as I do, but it's something special about this track. His flow and voice fits the beat perfectly and the hook is simple but yet so awesome.
5. Marshall Mathers
As he said himself in the book "Angry Blonde", this track portrays the cover of the album perfectly. It captures that whole white trash/outcast/loner feeling the cover has. He's doing what he's doing and he doesn't care what anyone else says. That's just dope.
