Yeezy is dope. 808's was a great album even though he can't sing for shit. I wonder if the people who said they didn't like it even listened to it. All of his records are classic and his next album is going to be great because he just keeps getting better. Time after time Kanye has changed the sound of Hip Hop, first he had everybody using samples and speeding up old 70's vocals, and then he took hip hop into the electric age along with the Neptunes. He is an innovator. And dare I say, he's doing more for hip hop than Dr. Dre is now. He gave us Cudi, keeps Common dropping albums and produces hits for great artists in the game and much more than that. I can't wait for his new album, and to all of his haters who scream for new music but only listen to the same music, "Quit hating from the sideline."

Dr. Dre hasn't really changed shit in the past 15 years.

Well, maybe his thumping drums and piano loops, but nothing really much.

his first 3 albums were great and i went out and got them all

but i don't think this album is gonna be very good after hearing him on some new rap songs he reminds me of lil wayne

Well I'll reserve my judgment until actual solo material from him comes out as apposed to what he's doing on other people's stuff.

But on that subject anyway, did you hear him on "Kind of Like a Big Deal". Sounds like he's improving to me.

I like Kanye, but i loathe 808s. He wasn't being unique with the auto-tune, and was as guilty as following the herd as all the people you mentioned. Auto-tune was around way before Kanye used it; annoying then and annoying now. And i don't care what he did it for, he can express himself via rap perfectly well it seems. So i will never like 808s and i consider it a huge mistake on his part. I don't even admire him for "doing something different", as all it is is a shitty gimmick for people who can't sing, and imo if you can't even hold a note decently using a robot voice to make it sound decent is just fucking stupid.

However i do like all his first three albums, and if he goes back to his real self on this album it will no doubt be good.
