he still makes good music, but it isn't as good as the music he used to make

I love Stay Wide Awake, Buffalo Bill,
but when I listen to my old Em albums, it just doesnt match up

sure, it is almost impossible to duplicate classics like Kill You, Way I Am, or basically the entire albums SSLP, MMLP, TES....maybe I just expect too much from Em, but I really think he has better stuff up his sleeve than Underground (love the flow, cant find the meaning).
ahead of my time, in my prime, one of a kind, out of my mind

word, he was definently better... but to say he doesnt make quality music isnt true... and sometimes i like his songs that have meaning but honestly most of the time i like just hearing him rap to perfection while not talking about anything deep... dont get me wrong, TES is and always will be my fav album ever... but infinite amazes me more than any other CD, simpley because i love hip-hop and when its done right like that (punchlines, flow, multis, etc) i enjoy that
be the best you can be, and if thats not good enough for people... than fuck em

I'm only entertaining you
My goal is to stimulate, making you high
And take you and I
To a place you can't see
But I believe you can fly
I don't mean nobody harm, I'm just partying
I'm not your dad, not your mom, not your guardian
Just a man who's on the mic
So let me entertain you...

Em wanted radio-friendly singles.

Fuck, Em is never on the radio cept for an occasional "Lose Yourself" play. All thats ever on is The Black Eyed Peas :shakehead:

I could've sworn people were freaking out about the economy from fall 08-spring 09, so if you ask me Em selling 600,000 during that time is impressive.
