oh yeah I've heard that one before too...kinda cool how he can attract different fans.

A lot of people have been turned off of rap music basically the last 10 years , as it has become repetitive and boring, so I wouldnt be surprised if Eminem was the only rapper many people listened to.

There is so much more good stuff out there tho...just gotta be willing to look (doesn't mean turn on the radio). Atmosphere, Tech N9ne, Talib Kweli, Mos Def ...just a few great rappers who you actually have to discover to appreciate them.

Mainstream hip hop is dead , not hip hop as a whole though

I agree. Overall hip hop is good, it's just the shit on the radio and mainstream is "dead". You just have to dig harder and be really interested in it to find all the good rappers.
