Do you just mean recently? Because Em hasn't been spitting metaphors properly for years. Because 02-06 he was all personal and lately he's been literal and descriptive.

In my opinion, Eminem (when on his game) can outshine anyone on a track. He has the skills to do it, just sometimes he can be a bit lazy. Based on the few recent features though, I think he has started putting much more into the features...possibly trying to get his name out there on some more serious shit.
