He took a break from solo. I don't count feature tracks as falling off. If he put out a solo album after Encore with Touchdown-type material I'd be with you.

But he took a self-imposed break and didn't put anything of his own out. He took a break, not fell off, he wasn't active.

Like I've said, twice now. He got lazy on Encore and fell-off SOME.

It's bullshit that he totally fell off with Encore though. Still has some classic tracks, one of which "Mosh" is one of his all-time classic tracks to me. So I can't accept he could make some of his best shit whilst having fell-off.

He certainly declined and got lazy. But didn't fall-off IMO.

As for the years Encore-Relapse. He took a break. How is that falling off? He announced he was gonna do this in 04 ffs. That's taking a break not falling off.

But he still produced, recorded and made it in 06. If he fell off so bad he wouldn't of pulled it off so good in every department.

just curious Embase what makes you think Mosh is one of Em's classic? to me that song is meh and I consider it one of the worse track on Encore.
And let's be real, NONE of Encore track can hold on to his past work, he can't rhyme to save his life there. And people say why only bring his "joke "songs? well there are good joke songs and bad joke songs, from 2004 they only gotten worse...

He was still killing it individually imo but the problem people have really at the moment is how admittedly inferior Encore was to its predecessors and half a decade later, Relapse was not enough to bridge the gap. Albums are were its at and thats the prob.

Okay, maybe he didn't fall of horrendously and "lose" all his talent, but the stuff he was writing didn't hold a candle to the amazing writing he had done during the SSLP-TES years. But I think we can agree that he did fall, even if a bit.
