The truth is society is in a massive downfall, and you can see that in female mentality too. What used to be a "whore" is now a "normal girl", and that's just because it works for everyone : guys get laid, girls are being called "sluts' , "bitches" etc. for no apparent reason anyway, so what difference does it make?
Now i'm not saying like, if a guy hooked up with a young girl and had sex with her then it's her fault. Obviously that guy is an asshole and imature. But, she kind of agreed, and she will with the next guy too, and on and on and on. So, there's no chance for this to be fixed unless we fix the mentality. And that's highly unlikely. So, It is what it is.

Good for you. But anyway, my point is : try to help these people. Do it by helping your self stop judging (don't mean to be a hypocrite, i judged them first, so it's my problem too). Do it by showing love and understanding and try to show them a better, respectable way of dealing with this stuff. Eventualy these kids will become moms and dads, and their example might not be that good in child development and the vicious circle will keep working it's way around us till we all get sucked in. It's not their fault. We are all just teenagers and we often make mistakes. A little chat might help more that you can imagine.

I like your posts alot and agree totally that we must all try to make a difference by setting examples ourselves. Restraint and self-control are valuable tools and they can influence others to do the same/ teach what is/isnt expected.

I think the guys are being stupid, not necessarily the girls, even though what they're doing is completely dumb. We're not considered adults until we're 18 for a reason, which is crazy with how our society is, for this exact reason.

You're a fuckin idiot, age = maturity and wisdom. Young people are extremely naive and older people know that and exploit it. To pretend this is all about revolutions around the sun and ticking clocks is the fuckin stupidest explanation i've seen in this entire thread. I completely agree with Coleons post.

My thought on any age girl having sex, is that it should not happen until the couple is ready to have a child. Shit happens. condoms break, birth control fails, periods come unexpectedly. so if the girl and guy are not mature enough to have a child then i do not think the relationship should be intercourse. I follow this rule, which i why i am still a virgin and i have no problem saying it. I am not ready for a child, and if I do have sex and I do end up getting pregnant, I do not think the child should be punished, because it will be no matter what decision i make.

Now young girls having sex with older guys, I believe they have definite insecurities (as other people have said) and the guys have one thing in mind. Penis in vagina. And whatever slick moves and lines will get them to this end result, they will take it regardless of the girl's feelings. (not all guys are like this, but USUALLY a guy that gets with a younger girl is looking for one thing)
