^Yeah, but even on dope Em cds you dont throw his CD on as background noise like the other disposable music I listen to. I can see people smoking weed to help them concentrate and really getting into Relapse moreso than doing the same and listening to some other popular album.
I never touch these ho's at all/ fucking with them tramp ass sluts you supposed to fall

Yeah but it does sound good to me.

I think it's lyrically class and it sounds very very good.

I remember when I first got the tracks, just being infatuated with them like a kid in a candy shop. And just thinking "wow, that's so fucking good". It was melting my ears it was so beautifully crafted.

Since then I've gotten used to it and am expecting even better now but man, even not discussing the rhyming or flows, I think the music sounds fantastic.

Some of my favourite Em tracks in recent time.

Every artists album sales are dropping

1 word, Recession
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

That's not the main reason though. People are acting as if they're just dropping in 08/09.

It's because less and less people buy physical CDs now, they have no need to. Not that this is news, this has been on a steady increase / decline (which ever way you look at it) since the late 90's.

But now so more than ever. Especially with iTunes. Many people still happy to pay, just don't wanna go pick it up. But people like Em still move 600k because people are expecting something special. So they wanna own the physical item.

But all the labels need to start fully integrating online imo, nothing is going to change. Which ever label starts to embrace it the most and think ahead of the game will come out on top of this next decade.

Yeah agree with you, downloads have definetly effected music sales, especially now with albums gettuing leaked two weeks before release date.

I was surprised that Relapse sold as much as it did in its first week all things considered, ie. the leak, the singles not being that good ( compared to his other albums )

If Em gets somebody like Lady Gaga for the main single off the upincoming album, I think sales will hit the roof!

actually that 1 word used to be Napster, the word has been Morpheus, then it turned into Kazaa, eventually became Limewire, then Itunes helped with Limewire still contributing, then the word Torrent did its damage ..... yeah I dont think the recession is really affecting album sales a heck of a lot
ahead of my time, in my prime, one of a kind, out of my mind

Lmao no they weren't you dick head. "My Darling" and "Careful What You Wish For" Are from his 07 recordings. As is "Beautiful".

Why do you think they're so slow and growly and simplistic like "Beautiful". And emotional. And all produced by Eminem in the same style (and not Dre - Dre handled all the 09 production). They're from 07. Don't state falsehoods as facts, you look an idiot.

That's why in "Careful What You Wish For" he says "and eight years later I'm still at it". Notice eight. His debut was 1999. Eight years after 1999 = 2007, when that song is from.

"Beautiful" was the only song he kept from that batch. The 07 batch. For the album. That's why he put two of the other best ones as bonus tracks. They're not from 2009.

aight doechebag i'll get my source and show it to you when i find it,,, but i know the were from after most of the songs from relapse were recorded,,, i did hear it was like an intro to relapse 2 or somethin but it's pointless to argue with u cause u allways have to be right and get ur point across.... dick :coffee:

by the way he was getting his normal voice back by the end of the album and he said that the songs were almost in the order that they were recorded,,, and no that's not my proof...

CFWYWF, My Darling, and Beautiful were all probably for King Mathers. Sigh, that probably would've been his worst album, rhyming wise, but would've been way better than Relapse. You can kind of get a feel for it, even when listening to Pistol Poppin'. You know his voice on that would've been like the whole album. I mean, people around Em were saying his best material was coming out during these times. I refuse to believe that it was just rumors.

And then this fucker pops out of rehab and completely made a piece of shit album, what the hell.

Relapse had: Wack accent, wack content, wack production. It hurts my ears. His delivery/flow was good, but not good for this albums content. Some lines were good, but there was no impact because of his non-stop flow. This flow would work if he spit about real shit over a soulful hip-hop beat.

Overall, it was garbage. Don't write me a book on how it was orgasmic to you. To me, it was garbage. Em is one of the most respected in the game, but people were scratching their heads about this album, and not for good reasons. It didn't fly over anyone's heads. Those "theory's" about 12 steps and the album has hidden gems, bla bla, shut the hell up. The album sucked, flat-out. You shouldn't have to put a microscope on album to figure out concepts, they should jump at you.

This has to be the weakest Dre production, ever. Dre was totally out of his element with this one, and you could tell he was confused as fuck. Em had no idea what the hell he was doing. He was just rhyming, big fuckin' deal. It's amazing how such an amazing writer like himself is making AMATEUR mistakes, this far into his career. Who would've thought the man who created the MMLP would make this piece of shit nine years later.

If a new rapper debuted this album, it wouldn't be shit. He'd be categorized with Esham and ICP and Tech N9ne and the like. You know, horror-core shit.

You don't need to / can't get any sources you cunt because you're wrong but are one of those pricks who cannnot simply admit it so you drag it out and dig yourself a further whole.

I've already proven it's from 07 with that 'eight year' line. You just can't accept you're wrong.

Bye cock head.

I've come to the conclusion, from reading a lot of posts over the last few months, that no one will ever be fucking happy with what Eminem does. Like Eminembase said, in MMLP and the show, he was talking about more personal issues (on some songs.) People bitched and moaned and slowly started to get tired of it. Now when relapse dropped, everyone was screaming,"Where's the bitching and complaining em?" Imo, Eminem has reached and is at his pinnacle of lyricism. Every verse (aside from we made you) on Relapse is GENIUS. :worship: His lyricism is there, and he has it. People don't know what they want to hear, they just want to find something to complain about. That's what it is.
"Have you ever experienced spirits in lyrics when you hear em till you scared to stare into any mirrors when you're near em ?"

Yeah i guess but Encore wasn't as bad just a few songs were.
Plus Encore was a better album than Weezys but Lil Wayne is still pretty.
Relapse though was a little better than Encore No doubt about that!
