He says something about not needing the police after that too I think, so IDK if he's saying that he is or isn't signing with Shady. It could be twisted either way. He could be saying "i don't need Shady anyways" or "i got Shady but i don't need them for this shit"

I have an idea shady is going independent so he can sign all the artists that have already established themselves(Cuz he hasnt done much of a good job finding artists that havent) that arent getting the play they deserve(i.e - redman, methodman, slaughter...obie etc.). He doesnt know if hes gunna be rappin much longer, he tried producing but Ive gotten the impression he doesnt like it too much...this might be the road he's decided to take for the long haul....Which would be an impressive business decision in my opinion.

Yeah definitely I mean you can never say Shady Records was a failure cause he signed 50 Cent who had some of the biggest hits of the decade whether you like him or not. I just think it SR the potential to be on top again, if they'd sign Slaughterhouse and maybe a couple others

Could happen, definitely should. However, despite all of the signs, it may not go down.

Does anyone else remember when D12 World came out, and it was practically a sure thing that Young Zee was going to sign to Shady, and then NOTHING. Young Zee would've been so much better than the people he signed after that time period, but it just never went down.

Obviously though, Royce on Shady should've happened as well. This whole "Shady Records going Independent" thing would be great, but I don't know if it'll happen. If it did, it'd be the best decision Em could make, but I wouldn't bet on it happening.

that's an interesting idea. How does Em take shady records from being on aftermath and interescope to be more or less independent? atleast Em could decide how can put out records when, that got to be the main reason to go indie. Not have to deal with interscope bullshit anymore...
