i'm getting what you're saying anyway the only single that I enjoyed off the BP3 was Young Forever.

As a whole gotta agree Relapse > BP3
When push come to shove, I just stand up and scream “F*ck ‘em all”

Erm... Well I mean lyrically still any Relapse single >>> any BP3 single BUT...

Overall I know what you're saying.

Erm, highlight on "Run this Town" for me though is Kanye. He easily outshines Jay.

Um um... No but for me "3AM" beats them all but then for some is horrible. But then "3AM" doesn't beat it in some aspects 'feel' because it wasn't made for that....

I can't really just say flat out this better when you got like... Very technical rap tracks about serial killing vs pretty simple technical but big-thinking, expansion type rap I mean... Different things.

"Beautiful" is the most naturally comparable. Feels ambitious and 'mood'-driven.

I dunno, you'd have to at least say better at what.

But for me, album wise Relapse slaughters BP3.

I still can't believe Empire State of Mind is such a popular song. Personally, I think is garbage.

Without a doubt in my mind, Blueprint 3 singles > Relapse singles, and Relapse > Blueprint 3 overall.

Jay picked the best songs off BP3 for his singles, he was wise to do that, whereas imo at least, the singles off Relapse where some of the worst tracks on the album ( except Beautiful and 3am )

So yeah bp3 has got better singles, but overall Relapse is the better album

It's true although lyrically the Em singles are better, in terms of gaining popularity and buzz BP3 ones are.

But I dont get the hype for Young Forever? Jay's flow on that is so off its unbelievable. I dont think Ive ever heard Jay rap that poorly. Nice chrous but the flow is shameful.

I agree with this, although i still think if "beautiful" was released as the first single it would have been really big, soo many people still haven't heard that song.

IMO thats the most overrated Eminem song ever. Its average lyrically and is far too self pitying. I prefer Deja Vu way more.

I think deja vu would have made a good single in replacement to 3am. I hope they get the singles right for Relapse 2.

Yeah his storytelling songs work well as singles. HE should have made a video for Deja Vu, Brain Damage and a couple of others. Would have been classic, I reckon.

Yeah I would have to agree, the best songs from BP3 were his singles, minus run this town i didn't really like that, and were better than R's singles, but as an album Relapse was much better :y:
