no. he will have at least one "final" album. I doubt he would have R2 be his absolute last album, hell Dre is almost 45 and he still has an album on the way, "supposedly"

I can see him making a couple more albums. His re-charged now and in a clear mind, if Relapse 2 is recieved well there will be more to follow for sure and there isn't anyone on shady records for him to produce for these days really but maybe a world tour / movie inbetween.

Well, considering he's putting everything he's got into it and the way he's focusing on it and the fact he's 37, 38 this year. I would guessed so.

But then happy to read, the way he's talking about it all in Complex, he's talking as if he has plenty more to go...

Like on 1Live back in Relapse promotion he said that he'll do R1 and R2 then get back in the studio etc. So seems like he's planning to do more.

Then he quipped about 60 being the cut off point to Complex so seems he really wants to re-confirm his legacy. I mean, he's happy with what he's done but after just a good album (Encore) and 5 years of no solo, I think he feels he needs to prove himself again.

Which is great. Relapse 2 is sounding like his best ever. Whether it will be, who knows. I just wish they'd hurry up and rleease fucking info oni t. But I personally think we'll get Relapse 2, next D12 album... Detox... Then maybe another solo album late 2011 or early 2012. Then maybe final D12 and solo album in 2013.

But I think it'll only likely be one after Relapse 2, solo. Wow, pretty weird to think we're so technically close to hearing the last music he will ever make as a solo artist.

Yeah that's my thought, as well as what eminembase said about that complex interview, plus he is bound to have the greatest hits like someone said, and I feel a full album of unreleased shit as well.

But I'd say R2, an album in 2011 and 2012 or 2012 and 2013, something like that, and then he'll be done releasing albums. It's so much different than normal "celebrities" cause actors can go forever, regular musicians can play/sing almost forever, and athletes can only go as long as their bodies tell them. Rap is always a young mans game, so it's seen as odd/bad when putting out when you're older, but Jay has kinda paved that road somewhat so we'll see.
