I believe he was only 'quitting golf' to make a statement to his family, and more importantly his wife. He was well aware that a divorce could cost him up to 300 million dollars, and he was prepared to do whatever necessary to stop it form going there.

Now that it is virtually over with, the only reason he is not golfing is to get the best possible outcome from the divorce proceedings. After that he will be back.

Most of the golf community thinks the Masters cuz I don't see Tiger missing a major if he isn't injured no matter the circumstances. There are rumors of him coming back for the Match Play on the 17th, but I think thats a little to early. I think he'll definately play in the Masters though, and atleast one warmup up tournament before then. Middle of March.
