Why is Redman Selling out NOW?

Obviously Redman is one of the best ever. Hardcore lyricist, funny lyricist, I love him.

He's been dropping albums since 92' and has major respect in the game... So why the FUCK is he selling out at this point?

On his latest album he's using autotune for the sake of it and the two singles I've heard from the album... Just watered down shit man, crafted for commercial rap.

What's gotten into him. Why do it at this point. He's 40 this year, has had a successful critical career in rap, barely no mistakes... Even when he's done stuff that hasn't gone down as well he's stayed truer than true to the craft and his style. Just can't understand why he'd do this and this point.

So how is that making it the way he wants it? He has been making albums the way he wants to lmao.

To me just sounds like him trying to justify eating off a few trends before his time is up. But I do not know why he'd do this now. He's fucking REDDDMAN. He's got the respect, got the money.

And he did it without selling out... Just don't get it.

In fairness Red hasn't been the same since he dropped Muddy Waters, thats what Def Jam does to any decent rapper that signs with them.....Red is still a legend though his first 3 albums are all classics
