Well he should win at least one Grammy.

I think Interscope are waiting to see if he wins to decide the date for R2.

Because if he wins, that's automatic, public hype.

I don't think it's just based on sales though. Shouldn't be anyway.

i think its based on the grammy indudicators, they listen to the album and decide between themselves which deserves the award. There are rumours going around that he might perform but its getting closer now.

Carter III got a lot of critical praise so it probably didn't win for that.
