I love Royce but not best alive IMO.

I mean back in the day he was one of the only guys... Probably thee only guy that ever hung with Em on a track and you know, in some people's opinions (not mine) even beat Em a few times.

But back then, he was lyrically amazing. Punchlines very close to Em's in terms of quality. I think they both pushed each other and fed off their friendly competition. Bad Meets Evil needs to fucking re-unite before they retire man, they could create some pure magic now.

I also LOVE Street Hop but nah not best alive to me. Certainly up there though.

50 fucking Cent? Are you serious. He's one of the worst lyricists in mainstream rap history not to mention one of the worst at flows and evolution.

GRODT is a classic but helped a lot by production, Massacre is average but pretty awful in spots, Curtis is terrible and BISD is average with some seriously cheap tracks. He's WAS good at hooks... That's it.

Not even in the top 20 lyricists alive nevermind BEST. Dr. Dre doesn't write his own shit, how can he be called the best alive, two albums in 18 years, he's a producer not a rapper.

Lol thats a complete joke.

Becuase Em doesnt want people who would be able to match his lyrical skill on Shady Records. Of course, that could be wrong, but why would he reject a great rapper who he has known for years, who go back to childhood days? Then later on sign average rappers like Stat Quo?

I like Em but I cant see any other reason for his rejection of Royce other than being competition for him.

Thats why I backed Royce in the stupid D12 beef.
