.::Just To Be Different::. D.Dubs/Tash8
http://www.zshare.net/audio/71769097d4379fb9/

Lyrics:
verse 1: (d.dubs)
See I’ma let the pen speak, (talk to em)
I could talk forever and never have my mind go empty,
Meaning I’m legitimate, or does it prove that I’m different,
Hip hop went commercial so I am syndicate,
Infinite lines of rhymes till I’m infamous time will only tell if this life decides to be generous,
I consider-it mine keep a considerate mind, as my life goes through the pen and the ink turns venomous,
See I never thought I’d write intelligent intricate,
But didn’t it surprise me its irrelevant isn’t it,
I’m different for rhyming but you think I’m an idiot,
The writings on the wall maybe you’re just illiterate,
Cause life’s fucked me and played it off but you should know that bitch will be pregnant the next time she gets intimate,
So my last stand to stand for those in the stands now,
Never stand down from rap I stand up so I can stand out

verse 2: (d.dubs)
I say I’m unique you ask why,
I’d ask that same thing if I’d look inta my eyes,
And ask who is me to myself, answer truthfully,
But honestly I’d give two answers, there’s two of me,
They both special one of a kind and mix beautifully,
They mix like they mutually one but talk stupidly,
Is that shit normal or I lose my serenity,
I say whats on my mind so I don’t lose my identity,
Fitteds are in, so I bend the cap,
So when you back to bendin caps I will bend mine back,
Cause if we the same my life would play in a rerun,
So doing it different just allowed me to become,
Everything I am a million fish in the sea,
I’m the only one on land so my mission to be,
Everything that you’re not and everything that I can,
So if being myself is different it’s because I am…

verse 3: (tash)
if opposites attracts
then why do people talk, dress and act
walk step and rap so exact and so similar
bumping new music yet it sounds so familiar
hearing rappers going ten percent, knowing that it never ends
got me flowin' temper fits of temperments, I guess that its
the thing that makes me so different
wait a minute though,
I'm on the other side of the barrel
ya know?
the one that no one even cares for
I must be the apple, cause i always think different
my entire life and every minute i've been in it, I feel so gifted
i'm home alone so that means no one's here to hear or listen in
and they wonder what I do to stand out
once I step on the turf, they know who's the man now
and I don't want your help, i ain't lookin for no handouts

d.dubs

wasnt feeling your flow at the start it got better as it went on, some rhymes sound really forced man, let it come naturualy dont worry about the complexity if its sounding a little weird, smoother sounding verse is alot more enjoyable than complexity.

second verse again man you start a little shaky with the flow, this is probly just you warming up to recording so work on that, this verse is more enjoyable but the beat takes over the vocals for some reason ? sounds mixed a little quiter than the 1st verse, but nice verse i enjoyed this over your first

tash i already spoke to you about your stop start stuff on msn so i wont repeate myself to you. i love your lyrics and again as the verse goes on you get really stronger. last 8 bars are really good man.

overall nice track for some reason you all start your verses a little weak. apart from that good job guys

well, my perception of forcing is a rhyme is a rhyme youve written out of structure and it hasnt flowed along.

Hip hop went commercial so I am syndicate,
Infinite lines of rhymes till I’m infamous time will only tell if this life decides to be generous,
I consider-it mine keep a considerate mind, as my life goes through the pen and the ink turns venomous,
See I never thought I’d write intelligent intricate,

that seems forced, it comes along as a nice line with the internal multi's but the beat and rythm goin through-out the verse makes it out of place in this track imo.

i do this sometimes aswell, me and tash have has talks about rhyme structure, i think basically some people need a structure and some dont, coz i dont write to a structure i like to hit the rhymes in out of place but flow them into place. so just a bit of advice if your goin to switch the rhyme structure up for a random bar but the beats sticking to the same rythm you got to twist the flow to make it sound like its still getting spat to the same rythm. you switched the structure kept the flow witch made it not gel fast enough imo. just something to work on

With that I tried to switch up the structure, to not just hit the rhymes at the same exact point, idk I tried something different, if it seemed forced then I just wrote it with a structure or with rhymes that seemed to be something they're not. The same way I did this line:

Cause life’s fucked me and played it off but you should know that bitch will be pregnant the next time she gets intimate

I appreciate your explanation btw :y:
