Reminds me of highschool debate esays lol.

Sadly no matter wat my or ur opinion is... people will still be dead unless that got money to pay for intensive care.. in that way doctors are indeed already deciding wether the person lives or dies.

yes a person can be suffering from sumthing like testicular cancer wich IS painfull .. and worth killing urself for, but that doesnt mean that theres no way chance u can survive...
The doctor how ever bases his opinion on statistics and will tell u that ur loved one is hopeless, and if u dont have the money to pay for the intesive care , while his/her life is supported by numerous machines and the nurses running around doing wat they can to make sure ur still alive, they tell it to u in a more convincing way(the doctor thinks ur loved one wont make it anyway).
Sometimes, like in cases of coma, people recover, it might take a decade but the person will still be alive, it will cost u all uve got to pay for that care.

Cos like in a coma people do have a chance, but I heard they usually ask the family what they should do when it's a coma, cos the patiant can't say anything, so I heard they leave it to the family..

I never thought about the coma stricken patients...I mean, you can never tell with them...there's a huge chance they can survive and be brain dead, or they can survive and learn to adapt to the different changes that may occur over time, or they could just lay in a hospital bed in a coma, this is such a controversial issue....

The doctor can ask them in numerous ways, and i bet he'll bring up the organ donation topic to compensate by saving someone else.

no im saying the doctor knows that the patient has 90% chance of living..
and he neglects the 10% chance that the patient can live... he might not even be doing it intentionally, its logic that tells him wat to do.

So he says it the way he sees it, and unintentionaly makes the the relative make a choice that seems logical at that moment.

It's like an interigation, an investigator will ask you the same question in a million ways, and then when he's questioning his child's actions, he might do the same thing not on purpose...And then the doctor might do the same thing in a round about way.....

Oh ok, I get what you're sayin. I guess they just look at the 90% of not living then the 10% of livin, cos afterall, there is more of a chance they're not gonna make it..

Sarah, he reworded it, it doesn't say 90% that he will die, but 90% chance he will live and then 10% chance he will live, unless he worded it wrong...

i think that doctors shud be able to end lives under certain circumstances/situations...if the person is already goin 2 die...theres no point in keepin them alive also wut if its really dangerous to keep the person live

I was also confused, but glad everything's straight, because I was tryin' to figure out which one he meant to be life or death....

yes, it must be that doctors end your life if they see that you never ever come out or have a normal life

I dont think that anyone has the power or should have the power to end someone else lives. But i know euthanasia is a big thing especially with terminally ill patient. There should be like a benchmark to decide if someone is gonna recover or not and even then it should be up to the family member of the dying patient choosing, not the doc.

i said yes under certain circumstances, becus to me..... its like, if a horse brakes it leg, u shoot it. theres no point in letting sumomone continue to suffer if u have the ability to end there suffering. and i dont think its playing god, cus its no different from saying they should live <-- to me thats playing god too..... its not up for us to decide, but under certain circumstances  this reminds me of that south park episode, lmao
