In all honesty, the whole thread being deleted is a little excessive. I don't know how hard it would've been to just delete the offending posts, but perhaps that would've been the best way to do it. I've had a post deleted before, and it pissed me off so bad that I almost jumped through the computer and raped Emadyville. A whole thread would've been enough to make me bring the whole site down.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. If it was me, I'm sure I'd feel the same way. I don't personally think that the thread should've been deleted. Whether or not the discussion was appropriate for the Audio Stage after it got off-topic is one thing, but I'd have to say that the rest of the thread should've been left alone.
