The MMLP and SSLP are classics and thats it to me, TES comes close but not for me sorry this is the album were he seemed to lose his underground influence which annoyed me abit when I heard it, sounded too commercial, a know alot of people round my way that have told me that they were big Em fans until TES came out. (Waits for people to hate even though its just my opinion :shifty: )

I don't mean nobody harm, I'm just partying
I'm not your dad, not your mom, not your guardian
Just a man who's on the mic
So let me entertain you...

TES and MMLP but SSLP would have been a classic with better production........
Relapse was close to a classic.....and Encore was good album :y:
Only if We As Americans, Ricky Ticky Toc, Bully, and Love You More replaced.....

No hate but, what kind of a question is that? Every single album has it's own place in the music history.
It doesn't mean if the content is weird (Relapse), the album isn't a classic.

And I have no fucking idea if my post made any sense.

i couldnt have said it any better. there is something different in TES compated to MMLP/SSLP and thats not a good thing. it doesnt have the I Dont Give a Fuck attitude that the first to had, which made them imo classics. i actually think TES is a little over-rated on this forum. so many people think its his best and i know people have their own opinions but in my eyes its nothing compared to his first two

^^ TES shows growth in Eminem as an artist, you don't expect him be Mr. Just Don't Giva A Fuck his whole life do you? TES is a mature, emotional, still funny sarcastic Eminem :y:

I also undertand that too but Eminem has to show some growth as an artist to move up in the bussiness. :y:

It's not like a don't like TES, I like it just don't regard it as a classic but still a good album, although feel like this is the album where he turned his back on the underground scene and starting making a more commercialy influenced album.
