No it's not. If there is too much hype around an album, when it comes out people will be disappointed and think it didn't live up to the hype.

Exactly. Even if it is still an amazing album and on TES tier, because people are practically expecting a classic or the best hip hop album ever, it can't live up to the hype even if it does turn out to be his best album in over half a decade.
