MF Doom and The Roots.

DOOM has so many albums to pick from in his discography if you look deep enough, but 16 well-known studio albums and I'd consider at least 8 "classics" that I still listen to. The Roots have 9 LP's (one live) I love and 2 EP's. The most creative group ever and I think everything they touch is gold/classic. I'd say Gangstarr has 7 classics, as well.

Ice Cube, Rakim, Nas, Wu members, Kool G Rap are all around there too.

Gang Starr doesn't even have 7 studio albums. :coffee:

Sorry, I was using my iTunes and counted Mass Appeal. One off makes me a fool, I guess. And to Fa-Q, he is underground, but I consider much of his stuff classic.. Gang Starr is considered underground to some, as well.

I'd have I Am.. instead of Hip Hop Is Dead. I Am.. is dope

Hip Hop Is Dead and Nastradamus are the two Nas albums I'm not too keen on.

I'd actually not put "I Am..." in that list either.

I think Eminem will claim this title after Relapse 2 (I'm pretty sure R2 is going to be a classic).

However, for now, I'm going to say Jay-Z. Over Nas because I think BP3 and Kingdom Come were absolute classics and Nas' recent albums have been crap.

I hated BP3 and Kingdom Come. And half of The Black Album. Since Blueprint Jay's only good album is American Gangster in my view.
