Postby shadyfreakzul » Feb 5th, '10, 11:41

I think eminem should do a rock/rap-rock album since his stuffs on rock beats come hard.I dont think he will have to worry about sales. He has a large rock and metal fanbase.I will really lovea rock album from him. What do you think?

lmao

on topic, if he made a 'rock' album but still rap all over it, it's basically still a rap album for me. Unless he sings

no no and errrrrm no, he may aswell just do a collab album with lil wayne, full of rock/rap beats and kill em all that way, but a EMINEM album rock/rap lol i'd rather cut off my penis with a rusty bread knife than see eminem go down that road and flop at end of his career

Wow, you're pretty anti this idea, huh?

But I actually think he would do way better with a rock album than any other rapper would.
He kinda got a good singing voice, and he can "scream", that's for sure (Kim, My Darling, The Way I Am etc.), and if he mixed that together on a rock joint, I think it'd turn out pretty damn good.

That's what I think. :8)

He could do it, and do it well. Hook back up with the Bass Brothers, have Jeff lay down all of the guitar tracks.

I'd prefer him to continue rapping on the beats primarily though. Rap-rock is good when it's done right; most usually it's not done right though.

Well some people class The Eminem Show as rap / rock, which it ain't really but it has that vibe.

But I think if he did an album which was more rock than rap he'd definitely pull it off very well. He grew up around rock as well as rap and loves both.

With Lil Wayne, he's just trying to do a Kanye by switching genre's and just threw out a really lame album full of autotune and mock-rock.

Em however I think would make a genuine rock album, I would like to see it.

He'd be the biggest fuckin' poser in history if he did a rock album. He said recently he doesn't listen to much music outside of hip-hop.

"And probably play guitar better, and I ain't never touched a string"

No, Eminem was made for rap. However, he does have insane flow on rock style beats.

Em's obviously heavily influenced by rock, and other genres as well but mainly rock, you don't know about him if you think hip-hop is the only thing he listens to.

and who said he have to play guitar to make a rock song (he probably can't anyway) :coffee:

Anyway, I changed my mind, a country album would be more awesome. He should collab with Taylor Swift too so he can be guaranteed for loads of awards :worship:
